Steve Jensen is the founder and Managing Director of Impact Training Corporation. Combining his passion for all things sales, communication and leadership and the corporate world, Steve has spent the last 30 years doing what he loves – sharing his knowledge and helping others achieve their true potential!
Steve, often referred to as Dr J, is known around the world for his inspiring presentations and his passion for teaching. He is often regarded as the leading international expert in sales and communication training, mentoring and implementation strategies. It’s this experience and authenticity that allows Steve to truly inspire greatness in his students and what motivates him to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Steve prides himself on staying on the pulse of the latest trends in sales, communication and leadership. He is committed to sharing his experience and expertise with everyone he meets, with the ultimate goal of making a positive difference in the lives of those he meets. Committed to lifelong learning Steve is always learning something new, a passion which has seen him become a certified DISC behavioural analysis presenter, a master NLP practitioner and more recently, seen him delve into the world of digital marketing.
Steve is one of the most recognised influences and personalities of the Australian Fitness Industry. Having taken on a variety of roles in the industry throughout his career including working as a trainer, membership consultant, club manager, sales manager, regional sales manager, operations director, owner, CEO and mentor, Steve has a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience.
Steve’s dedication to the Australian Fitness Industry has been well documented and awarded. In 2014 he was recognised by the Fitness Australia for his service to the Industry by being awarded The Honour Roll Award was for his training in sales and communications skills as well as for his innovation and revolutionising of the sales processes and techniques used globally for nearly 20 years. At the 2015 Filex Convention Steve was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Australian Fitness Network. The Life Time Achievement Award made only to Professionals who have dedicated their lives to working in the industry and making a difference to the people that work in sales and management. Steve was voted the best presenter in sales, sale management and communication in four countries and was the one the guest speakers at the coveted Speakers Master Class Event for the National Speakers Association in 2009.
Setting new trends in training and evolutionary ways to ensure people know that the art of selling has changed and in an ever-changing market place, he has developed ways that teach you how to inspire people to buy. He says “Gone are the days of pushy hard closing selling” and Businesses must evolve if they want to maximise every opportunity. Steve also says that “Selling and Customer Care skills can be learnt and when implemented correctly, will increase sales dramatically”.
